Kentish Hills Retreat Motel

A relaxed, rural atmosphere awaits guests to the Kentish Hills Retreat. Nestled below the ranges of Mount Roland, Kentish Hills Retreat is located on a large property in Sheffield, the Town of Murals, where the walls are adorned with hand paintings depicting the history of the area.

Opened in May 1997, the retreat consists of 8 luxurious self-catering motel units. All rooms feature a colour TV, direct dial phone, electric blankets and heater and mini bar. There is also a guests' laundry for your convenience.

The retreat is perfect for couples, families and groups with the disabled also catered for. One unit contains a private spa making it ideal for a peaceful, romantic getaway.

Kentish Hills Retreat is central to a number of local attractions. You can climb Mt Roland and enjoy spectacular panoramic views, or take a scenic bush walk in the Cradle Mountain National Park. Explore Mole Creek caves, visit the Trowunna Wildlife Park and Tasmazia (a complex of mazes, pancake parlour and lavender farm) can keep you entertained for quite some time. Try some wine tasting from the local vineyards or play a relaxing round of golf at the Sheffield Golf Course. The retreat is also the perfect base to explore Tasmania's beautiful North West coast.

Trout fishing and BBQ facilities are provided onsite to encourage guests to enjoy the farm land which surrounds the property. Enjoy the country style accommodation yet only 500 metres from the centre of town.
