A Fairy Meadow home with "a lot of quirky features", including its bright yellow door, is back on the market after a few years of ownership.
The three-bedroom home, located at 4 Jardine Street, Fairy Meadow has a price guide of $1.1 million.
Its weatherboard cottage exterior and retro appeal inside are reportedly proving popular with prospective buyers.

The prices on offer in Fairy Meadow are also attracting buyers from those priced out of other suburbs in the area.
CoreLogic records show the property previously sold in September 2021 for $880,000.
Prior to that, it had reportedly been owned by the same family since 1957.
The current owner said the property appealed initially due to its "solid" nature, and the 12-metre garage, which enabled them to have a pottery studio and woodwork area.
"The backyard is so quiet and private... It's a really peaceful sanctuary," she said.
"And I really liked the idea of an outdoor laundry, as well as the huge bedrooms."

The current owner said they had installed a new roof, and solar panels. "We haven't had an electricity or gas bill since putting that on," she said of the latter.
"We also rejigged the insides to make it more liveable as a three-bedroom, pulled up the carpet, did the floors, and there's an outdoor bath now.
"The outdoor bath is fully enclosed. No one can see into that area, so you can lie out there, have a hot bath and look up at the sky."

Sitting on 575 square metres, other features of the home include timber floors, a sage green retro kitchen, and tropical wallpaper. There's also a sunroom at the rear of the house.
The owner said the property "has a lot of quirky features", with her favourites in this vein including the built-in ironing board, cornicing and height of the roof.
"It's also a great place to entertain," she said.
"There's all different areas out the back; a lounge area, an outdoor dining area, a built-in barbecue, and a fire-pit area."
The property's zoning is a mix of light industrial and residential.
Selling agent, Adam McMahon from Dignam Real Estate said the home had a retro appeal.
"They (buyers) love the cottage, the style of it; the yellow doors are quite striking," he said.
"And the fact that it has a level, north-facing backyard has been a big ticket item. People love that natural light coming in."
According to CoreLogic, currently the median sales price of houses in Fairy Meadow is $1.075 million.
That makes it a lot cheaper than surrounding areas including Woonona which has a median house price of $1,402,500 and Bulli at $1.45 million.
Mr McMahon said Fairy Meadow was one suburb where buyers priced out of locations further north were now looking.
"Anybody who is priced out of Woonona, Bulli, Russell Vale, they're researching and looking in that Fairy Meadow, Tarrawanna and Fernhill area," he said.
"Fairy Meadow is popular due to the affordability, and also being close to Wollongong CBD, having great beaches, the railway, and access to the university."
