Medowie- ‘the place of the tall trees’ has so much to offer. Nestled between the sea and bush, this tiny town has a great “at home” feel about it. A property boom in the 1980’s in and around Medowie, was met with infrastructural growth and facilities to house personnel stationed at the nearby RAAF base in Williamstown.

For the growing family, Medowie is a perfect place to settle. There are two government primary schools, Medowie and Wirreanda Public as well as a Christian school. Catherine McAuley Catholic College is a co-ed high school which was recently opened in 2021.

Medowie falls within the suburb of Port Stephens, and has everything you need from shops, cafes, and sporting clubs across every persuasion.

For lovers of all things equestrian, you will find just the place to agist your horse or join a riding club or school in Medowie.

There are medical centres, retail centres, childcare facilities and a booming economic trade. Medowie offers that wonderfully country lifestyle while close to amenities and it’s only a short drive to the Pacific Highway and wineries in the Hunter Valley region.
