The Flinders Ranges Council is a local government area located in the Flinders Ranges of South Australia, covering approximately 4,198 square kilometres. The main towns within the council are Hawker and Quorn, with several other localities also included. The council was established on 1 January 1997 through the merger of two previous district councils. It adjoins several other local government areas to the south, while the rest of the surrounding land is part of the unincorporated area of South Australia.
