Wiluna is a small town located in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia. It serves as a service center for the local Martu people, the pastoral industry, and the Wiluna Gold Mine. The town is situated on the edge of the Western Desert, serving as the gateway to the Canning Stock Route and Gunbarrel Highway. Wiluna has a hot and dry climate, with mean maximum temperatures ranging from 19 °C (66 °F) in July to 38 °C (100 °F) in January.
