It is popular with young singles, families and cashed-up downsizers all attracted by its beachside lifestyle. Beside the beach there is plenty on offer with many restaurants, cafes, bars and pubs lining the main pedestrian thoroughfare, The Corso, surrounding streets and in a waterfront dining district on Manly wharf.
Buying into the suburb however comes at a premium. The median apartment price in Manly in June 2021 was $1.65 million and the median house price $3.82 million.
