Bulloo Council

The Shire of Bulloo is a local government area in South West Queensland, Australia. The Queensland Government reorganised the nine localities in the Shire, resulting in six localities. Thargomindah was enlarged through the incorporation of most of Bullawarra, Dynevor, and Norley. Bulloo Downs gained a small portion from Bullawarra and lost some western land to Cameron Corner. Cameron Corner gained a small portion of land from Bulloo Downs, and Nockatunga was renamed Noccundra. The council area of Bulloo has a majority of households with affordable mortgage and rent payments. The income distribution is varied, with a significant portion earning between $26k to $52k. The population is skewed towards older age groups, with a mix of family compositions. The top industries include agriculture, transport, and other services. Occupied dwellings show a mix of ownership and rental tenures, with a diverse occupation profile.
