A year-and-a-half after it was first listed for sale, television veteran Larry Emdur and wife Sylvie have sold their Kangaroo Valley property.

The home sold earlier this week, but the sale price remains unknown.

The property, which was listed for sale in February 2022 before being withdrawn from the market in March this year, was re-listed in June with a new agent.

The Morning Show and The Chase Australia host has been renting out the Kangaroo Valley property for short stays for $1000 to $1200 a night.

The property was initially listed for sale after less than two years in their ownership.

The Emdurs initially listed the property with a price guide of $3.5 million. This was later lowered to $3 million.

In August 2020, The Morning Show and The Chase Australia host, and wife Sylvie bought the property for $2.15 million.

The new selling agent was Nick Dale from Belle Property Berry, who said in June that the home still had a price guide of $3 million. The sale included the furniture.

Speaking to the Mercury on Tuesday, Mr Dale said the home had sold to a Sydney buyer, for "close to" the guide.

He said the new owner would be utilising the home as a weekender for himself, family and friends.

The property made headlines earlier this year when fans noticed a "sex statue" perched atop a table in pictures of the house.

This was also spotted by TV pop culture program Have You Been Paying Attention?.

"The famous statue will remain in the house," Mr Dale said.

Mr Dale also said the new owners planned to install a pool.

The property is a popular Airbnb-style holiday let.

Earlier this year, Mr Dale said the timing of the Emdurs' initial listing of the home had been less than ideal, due to heavy rains leading to extended road closures in the area.

Mr Dale said the home was "the perfect holiday house".

'Sky Ridge' is an off-grid, solar-powered, eco-friendly home sitting on four hectares.

In August 2020, The Morning Show and The Chase Australia host, and wife Sylvie bought the property for $2.15 million.

Emdur told the Mercury last year they would be sad to part with the property, which he described as "the most amazing place we've ever had".

"When we first walked in there we were blown away," he said.
