A waterfront property on the most expensive street in Valentine could be the ultimate entertainer's home, the agent says.
The house at 45 Dilkera Avenue is listed with Natalie Tonks of Presence Real Estate.
The home last went for $3.6 million in March 2020 and was previously held by one owner for almost 40 years after they purchased it for $195,000 in 1982.
With terrace spaces spread across three levels, Ms Tonks said the outdoor entertainment possibilities were attractive features.
"The current owner keeps saying that the sunsets are incredible," she said.
The owners said they would also miss the "beautiful sunrises, the paddles on the lake" and the Green Point foreshore walk.
Positioned on waterfront reserve, the property offers 180-degree lake views stretching from Toronto to Eleebana, Ms Tonks said.
"The houses around here are usually pretty tightly held, it is a prestigious spot," she said.
Four bedrooms, three bathrooms and several living areas are split across three levels.
The top floor features a spacious "parents retreat" with a master bedroom and ensuite looking out onto the lake.
Floor-to-ceiling windows look out from the first-floor living room onto the balcony, with two bedrooms, and one bathroom.
The ground level had a bedroom that would work great as a teenager's room or a guest bedroom with a study that currently doubled as a 'man cave', Ms Tonks said.
Built in the 1960s, the home has had several renovations over the years, with the current owners adding a new kitchen, two new bathrooms and an updated laundry.
It has new carpet throughout and an abundance of extra storage spaces.
The kitchen has high-end Gaggenau appliances including a steam convection oven, a microwave and a large oven.
"It could be good for someone from Sydney wanting a quieter pace, or it could be an in-town buyer or someone from Sydney looking for a holiday house," Ms Tonks said.
She said the property's lake frontage and the boat shed would be fantastic for someone who enjoyed water sports.
The top 26 sales in Valentine were all on Dilkera Avenue, with several houses going for more than $3 million, according to CoreLogic.
In May 2024, a three-bedroom house at 83 Dilkera sold for $4 million while 53 Dilkera went for $4.1 million.
Other lakeside properties had fetched a high price with 75 Marks Point Road going for $5 million in 2023, and a four-bedroom house at 82 Ross Street, Belmont going for almost $4 million.
According to CoreLogic, the median value of Valentine was $1.22 million and had risen by almost 70 per cent in the last five years.
Nearby property, without water frontage, at 78 Dilkera has a price guide of $2.28 to $2.24 with four bedrooms and two bathrooms.
